According to Voltaire, “Tolerance is a law of nature stamped on the heart of all men.”

How true indeed, the human desire for tolerance is limitless. Tolerance is a virtue, same as truth and honesty. Of course, there are many who disagree, for, in the conditions of adversity, the temptation to retaliate becomes too strong. Those who think of hitting back at the antagonist somehow want to believe that it is not unlawful. Any act of antagonism does not give us the right to be intolerant. In such situation we rather need to be more tolerance than in normal circumstances.

The reality of life is that there are divergence of views between man and man. There is nothing wrong with it. In fact, diversity of opinions plays an important role in human spiritual growth. The divergence of thinking and the intellectual gauntlet stimulate the mental, created developed personalities.

Nobody in this world is perfect. One may has some
good qualities in certain areas, but he may be lacking in others. This is one of the reasons why there are differences between people. If people learn to tolerate each others’ differences, it will become a great contributor to human spiritual growth.

The habit of tolerance prevents man from wasting his time on unnecessary matters. When negatively affected by another’s unpalatable behavior, your mental equilibrium is upset. If you are not emotionally affected, your mental will retain its equilibrium and you can continue with your work in the normal way. Tolerance enhances your personal productivity, while intolerance reduces it.

Do you think the productivity of this chicken was not affected?
